Earth-Based Traditions and Technologies for Advancing Wisdom and Well-Being in Modern Life
Lifeways Community Classes
Winter 2024
A “lifeway” is a work of art. It’s a worldview. It’s a manner of living on this planet. It’s a tradition and an evolution. It’s an inquiry into how we co-exist and co-create harmony on this Earth. This course is 9 weeks of commitment to practice. We will explore how to develop embodied presence, practice skills for shamanic journeying, and learn about the traditional spiritual technologies for health and healing that are relevant to our way of life now.
During this course, we will study Traditional Amazonian Medicine and cosmology as well as energetic tools for well-being. We will actually practice together through meditative movement and group inquiry in every class. Our group forum will be a space to stay connected with the community and hold each other accountable.
Community members will leave this class with a deeper knowing of our power as creative beings deeply interwoven with Nature, and with the support of a community that loves self-discovery and exploring the cosmos.
This class is similar to previous years’ community classes, but it’s completely different in its content. Each class will have a short practice period and opportunities to connect with classmates who love this practice.
I hope you’ll join us.
